The Soldier

Defining Attribute:
Hand to Hand Combat
Sawyer is a formally trained fighter capable of taking an opponent twice her size and muscle mass down with the right circumstances. She's agile, deadly, and oftentimes cruel in how she dispenses her lethality. She's a fearsome foe when it comes to fists- or more aptly, fists, legs, elbows, teeth, whatever she has to do.
Above Average Skills:
Gunplay.Having been fully trained to use small firearms and heavy rifles alike, Sawyer knows exactly what to do when there's a gun in her hands.
Self Discipline. As a soldier by trade, Sawyer has learned to keep herself on as short a leash as mentally possible. She's literally hooked and unhooked herself on heavily addictive homebrew narcotics just to prove that much.
Weapon Upkeep & Resource Management.Sawyer knows the ins and outs of keeping a weapon in tip-top shape and making sure ANY resource is being properly moderated to last as long as possible. Whether it be food, ammo, or other peoples' lives.

Basic Understanding Skills:
High School Level Education
Full Elysium Soldier TrainingFrom basic survival skills to hotwiring a car, Chevy Bragg instilled skills in Sawyer that few others on Gaea possess- though at what cost...
Melee Weapon UseFor the most part, Sawyer can use most melee weapons with decent effectiveness.

Difficulties and Weaknesses:
Mental ProgrammingSawyer has spent the better part of a decade being conditioned and "brainwashed" by The Bragg Twins to be more than just the perfect soldier- but the perfect Elysium propagandist. The blood on her hands may have opened her eyes to the truth, but those years being drilled with the Braggs' ideals aren't going away anytime soon.
ShellshockIt took a bone-shaking explosion for Sawyer to realize what she had become as a result of Chevy Bragg's training, and an explosion of a similar shocking magnitude could send Sawyer spiraling back to that moment. PTSD haunts her dreams and occasionally pushes its way into her waking moments.
Over-AggressionIf Sawyer gets too heavily fixated on a fight, she will legitimately go so far as to debilitate allies that try to pull her away before she's won. Her rage makes her invest fully in a battle when she's personally affected.

Sawyer almost always keeps in the same security outfit she wore in the Outpost, but with all the branding scratched off or burned out beyond recognition. Going into a fight, she occasionally dons the same skull face facepaint she wore during the explosion at Outpost 9, designed to strike fear into her opponents as well as mask her identity a bit better.
When she DOES go casual, she often opts for grungey black on black attire that keeps comfortable yet somehow, slightly intimidating.
Hair Color:
Natural Blonde, Dyed Brown
Eye Color:
Slate Grey
Height and Body Type
At 5'9", Sawyer is framed lean with a heavy muscle tone that disguises her strength and athleticism until she's just a little too close.
Scars and Tattoos
While Sawyer has dozens of scars all around her body, there are two notable scratches across her lips that are easy to spot. She's also all but covered in tattoos, the most iconic of which is the moth across her collarbones and upper chest.

Birthplace:
Outpost 9
Current Living Situation:
Traveling with the other Outpost 9 Survivors.
Relationships:
See Backstory Page.
Morality:
Sawyer isn't exactly a good person. Whatever capacity for good she once had was beaten out of her a long time ago. She wants to think changing sides is the first step to normalcy, but somewhere deep down, she knows the truth is she likes killing. Power, freedom, strength, are all worth the suffering of anyone who gets in her way.
Fatal Flaw:
Relationship with Authority
Sawyer's history with imposing authority figures is, obviously, checkered at best. Now, her capacity to take order fluctuates on the extremes of the spectrum; either following order compliantly and willingly or fighting every command, searching for any moment of weakness to drive a knife in a chink of the armor. She'll never be controlled again- even if it means costing herself the trust of her closest allies.
Motivation:
Sawyer's thirst for revenge against the Bragg Twins runs deep- deeper than some Outpost Survivors'- but in truth, Chevy's death isn't what she most wants. She craves to take the power that she was robbed of back into her hands, taking control of her life and her autonomy and tasting true freedom for the first time in over two decades. If it means playing ball with like-minded survivors, she's game, but only until the job is done.
